Okay, parents, repeat after me. "If a priest (or any other adult) wants to take my kid off on a trip by himself and not a group with chaperones from among the parents of the kids, what should I say?"
Answer: "HELL NO!"
And then keep your eye on the priest (or other adult), because he's shown himself to be, at the very least, grossly imprudent, at worst an opportunistic child sex abuser.
