Bishop Sartain has removed a homosexual priest from his pastorate for engaging in homosexual acts on more than one occasion. Although the acts were not crimes since the priest's partners were legal adults, Bishop Sartain's executive assistant said, “It was consenting behavior, but a priest takes a vow of celibacy.... He was unfaithful to his vows on more than one occasion.”
God bless you , Bishop Sartain. You are protecting your people and acting in charity for the good of the soul of Fr. Simonelli. You cannot serve both God and Mammon or God and Lust.
